Yet another Food Run ?

Dorset branch were out looking for food again this time it meant a great time had by all at the Xmas Wokky Spiccy iccy Bikkey lunch on the 16th Dec attended by 25 hungry members but with a difference it was an Asian buffet.

To finish the lunch we had to make Bikes out of Mr Whippy ice cream.  Winner as you can see was Keith and Kite Man who won a great prize.  Slappers young boys had a great bike too and won book tokens.

Go see the Gallery for pics.

Update 29/10/07

I have just managed to confirm with The Frampton Arms the next meeting date.

So come along on Friday 16th at 7.30pm.  I have also asked details about their Christmas menu and hope to receive it soon.  I don't know if anyone noticed but they do carvery as well at about £10.

Chelsea Bun Run 20th October

The ride started of at Weymouth then on to Poole and Salisbury to pick up other riders a total 7 bikes in all. Then on to Hein Greicke Farnborough were a good discount and a great fresh made mug of tea [thanks to the staff] was enjoyed by all. Infinitey Bike shop up the road had just re-opened after changing hands but were unable to take anything other than cash so Chris dipped out on the new trousers he wanted to buy as a whip round by all would have never produced enough he!!! he!!!!!!
Simon the leader of the pack for the day suffered complete battery failure and had to purchase a new one, so then on to our main target of the day to fit battery, but this then needed Chris to push Simon on the VFR 750 to get him going [sorry no camera available for that shot].
We finally made it to Egham and as to why!!!!!!!!!! French sticks with various fillings crisps and the famous Chelsea buns were greatly on offer by our hosts Pam Roy and Mike.
A return trip on the M3 meant that Simon who had lead the way well [seeing as it is only the second time] could have a quick blast with everyone else, well till the two Motorcycle police were caught in the mirror of the front bike who pulled us back into line Ho Hum I was enjoying that.
All agreed at the end of the day this must be a yearly event.

If you want to see Pics go to Dorset Forum.

H aka Heather nagging pillion passenger to Chris.

The meeting on Friday the 14th September had a total of 9 people unfortunately 6 could not make it but since then more interest has been shown and we could see a club with up to 19 members.  The landlord of The Ferrybridge unfortunately is giving up the lease so this means we will have to look else where but hey presto another venue has been found for our meeting on Friday 19th October we are welcome at Frampton Arms Morton nr Dorchester DT2 8BB which is easy to get to whether anyone is coming from Poole or Yeovil on the A35 then the B3390 which is a nice ride with bends.  So travel safe and hope to see you there.
